Terrina Chrishell
Terrina Christopherhell Stause was born on 21 July 1982. She is famous for her role in Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality show. Her earlier roles included Amanda Dillon (All My Children) and Jordan Ridgeway (Days of Our Lives). Stause was born in Draffenville in Kentucky. She earned her degree from Murray State University with a B.A. in theater in 2003. Her middle name "Chrishell" is a portmanteau word created due to the peculiar circumstances surrounding her birth: her mother went into labor at a Shell station, and an attendant named Chris helped deliver the baby. Strause's book debunks the myths regarding her birth. Strause spoke out about her mother's automobile problems and then walked into an auto gas station. She went into pre-labor while waiting in the station, and the attendant helped her get to a hospital. Strause was born in the hospital. Her mother who was half Japanese/half Spanish, split up before Strause knew she was expecting. Jeff is her stepson. Chrishell Strause had to live in a tent throughout middle school, so she did not attend school for the full year. Strause remembers the time she washed her hair in a river, using food stamps, and hiding her true identity from her classmates. The parents of Strause "struggled with addiction and mental health" and for a period when she joined the Worldwide Church of God when she was 10 years old. Strause describes her mother as a self-righteous, free-spirited woman. Her mother did not have any steady employment.
