Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4, 1954. O'Hara has received a variety of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also received two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020 , she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara made her name as an actress as a member in 1974 of The Second City, an comedy troupe that was based in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also part of her main ensemble in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). In the following year, O'Hara and Candy began work on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned critical acclaim for both her performance as a comedic actress and as a writer, winning an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for an Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
